FixEquip Mobile, LLC (“FIXEQUIP”) owns and operates the Mobile Application and Platform (“Platform”) FIXEQUIP.  Privacy is one of our main focuses and we do everything in our powers to make sure your information stays safe and secure. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy as well as acknowledge and agree to the Terms of Service.

FIXEQUIP holds the rights to all logos and symbols associated with the brand. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the "FixEquip" name, imagery, or associated logos is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from FIXEQUIP. Additionally, all intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and trade dress, are fully reserved by FIXEQUIP. Any infringement, misrepresentation, or unauthorized use may result in legal action to the fullest extent permitted by law. By engaging with or referencing "FixEquip”, individuals and entities agree to comply with all applicable trademark and copyright laws.

 

Information Collection and Use: While using the Platform, we will ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include but is not limited to your name, address, email address, and phone number ("Personal Information"). We may use your email address to send you Service-related notices (including any notices required by law, in lieu of communication by postal mail). We may also use your contact information to send you marketing messages. If you don’t want to receive these messages, you can opt-out by emailing us at info@fixequip.com. We may retain the content of your email messages, your email address, and our responses.

If you choose to create an account on the Platform, you must provide us with personal information, so we are able to enroll you in the services that are requested.  By setting up the account, you not only provide Personal Information, but you will be providing log-in credentials and payment information as well.  FIXEQUIP does not process payments and relies on third-party processors who are clearly identified at checkout.  The third-party processors will accept and store your personal and payment information and process the entire transaction.  During the transaction, several electronic communications will occur between processor, buyer, and FIXEQUIP, including but not limited to payment authorizations, payment acceptance, payment approval, and payment deposits.  The users of the site acknowledge and agree that they will also be subject to the Privacy Policy of the payment processor which is located on the bottom of their transaction portal.

 

 GPS Tracking and Location Data: When you use the Platform, GPS tracking will be enabled on your mobile device and/or equipment where applicable. This allows FixEquip Mobile to:

  • Track the real-time location of equipment.

  • Monitor technician arrival times and job site proximity.

  • Enhance coordination between Operators/Owners and Technicians.

  • Improve safety and operational efficiency.

By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and continuous use of GPS and location data for these purposes. You may disable location tracking on your device; however, this may limit the functionality of the Platform and your ability to receive certain services.

 

Log Data: Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit the Platform ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information including but not limited to your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, the pages of the Platform that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor, and analyze this information. In addition to log data, we may also collect information about the device you’re using the Platform on, including what type of device it is, what operating system you’re using, device settings, unique device identifiers, and crash data. Whether we collect some or all this information often depends on what type of device you’re using and its settings.

 

Sharing of Information: There may be times when communications and related content and other user information may be shared by FIXEQUIP, its affiliates, and third parties. In addition to the above, you acknowledge that any information provided to us via the Platform will become accessible to our third-party providers and agents. The below section provides information on how this information is used.

FIXEQUIP may share information:

  • With third-party service providers and agents. We may from time to time employ third-party companies or individuals to process Personal Information on our behalf. These services include but are not limited to Online Market Research, Payment Processors, Web Hosting Services, Lead Generation Processors, and Analytics Companies.

  • With advertisers and vendors who have similar interest who may benefit from the information provided from the Platform.  If you would like to opt-out of having your information provided to advertisers or vendors, please send an email to info@fixequip.com

  • With manufacturers or other possible intermediaries who provided specific information about the products contained within the Platform.

  • With law enforcement and other government authorities as permitted by law for the prevention, detection, and persecution of criminal acts.

 

Children’s Information: FIXEQUIP’s websites and applications are not intended for use by children under the age of 18. Please contact us immediately at info@fixequip.com if you become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information without the consent of a parent or guardian

 

Communications: We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials, and other information

 

Cookies: Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer's hard drive typically done to improve speed and efficiency when browsing websites. Like many sites, we use "cookies" to collect information on how you interact with the Platform. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to access certain portions of the Platform.

 

Security: The security of your Personal Information is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security

 

Changes to This Privacy Policy: This Privacy Policy is effective as of July 1, 2025, and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page. We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Platform after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you either through the email address you have provided us, or by placing a prominent notice on the Platform.
